About Annett's Loves

We are an organization that has a heart for people.

Annett's Loves Community Empowerment Center Inc was inspired by the life and legacy of my mother "Annett Snell". Everywhere she went she shined a light, she made a difference,  she initiated a positive change in the lives of many. She worked with children and adults who struggled with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities at the Laurens County Community Service Board of Middle Georgia for 36 years prior to retirement. My mother passed away in 2009 (at the age of 57) due to a rare illness called Amyloidosis. An Angel gone too soon. She taught my siblings and I to always look for the good in people no matter who they are, where they're from, or what they do. It has always been instilled in us that everybody is somebody; therefore, we should always treat others with the same courtesy and respect that we desire. It has been over a decade since she passed away but  the legacy that she left in our community lives on. I still have people of all races, ethnicities, and backgrounds in our community come up to me and reminisce about the caliber woman she was and how she changed their lives and/or the lives of their children for the better. Our mother, along with our father is a pastor in the local community, raised us to love and respect everyone and to help those in need every time an opportunity presents itself and I am trying to do just that. I realize that a lot comes with establishing a nonprofit that will help bring forth positive changes in the community but I'm willing to give my all to make that happen.

I want to motivate others (like my mom did for so many); I want to help people change their story, when they feel there's no happy ending; and I want to provide opportunities for success when people feel like they have no one else to turn to. People deserve to live a life of happiness, peace, joy, certainty, love and contentment; therefore, I will do my best to make that happen and help them through their process.

"People will forget what you said, People will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you make them feel"
